Mata Saraswati is most powerful divine goddess, she is the "Goddess of Knowledge, Goddess of excellence, Goddess of sound & music. The main weapons of Mata Saraswati are books, pen and lute (veena), Mata Saraswati is omni present and worshiped in many countries as Goddess of knowledge & wisdom.

In Vedas and Puranas, the Goddess Saraswati is well recognized as a Goddess of knowledge. In our holy puranas, it is well explained that Goddess Saraswati sits on the tongue of everyone's mouth and she also flows as river on the earth. Mata Saraswati sits on beautiful white lotus, she carries veena and book in her hands. Beloved Mata Saraswati gives us peace of mind. Since Mata Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, she is capable to give us correct path in our life. Mata Saraswati is a goddess for every person and mother of all the students. The honest study of books is itself a worship of Mata Saraswati.

Mother Saraswati in Kaliyuga

This is Kaliyug, in today’s prosperous and powerful world, the way evils have been surged, men are entangled in wrongdoings, the corruption has become an etiquette, often we see horror atrocities against women and small girls, we have become ruthless. Our mind is full of foolishness, we have become prosperous and powerful, but we are also becoming mentally disordered.

Recent Research findings on Saraswati Rivers are well matched with the Vedic era, as mentioned in vedas, divine Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge, wisdom & excellence and on the earth she is in the form of River also. Rigevda says “Ambitame, naditame, devitame Saraswati. So Goddess Saraswati is divine goddess as well as a divine ancient holy river. On this earth, there is no dedicated dham exists for Goddess Saraswati and it is needed in Kaliyug, so Saraswati Dham is proposed on the bank of lost river Saraswati. Since Mata Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge and music so “Mata Saraswati Dham” would also be a World Education Center (WEC) and it would also consists of an International Institute on Musical Studies (IIMS). Unveiling the Vedic Presence of Mata Saraswati

Ambitame Devitame Naditame Sarasvati (The best of mothers, rivers and goddesses, Oh Sarasvati) : Rig Veda – 2.41.16 Sarasvati is mentioned many times in the hymns (suktas) of the Rigveda. The most important hymns related to Sarasvati goddess are RV 6.61, RV 7.95 and RV 7.96. As a river goddess, she is described as a mighty flood, and is clearly not an earthly river. Saraswati remains an important figure in the later medieval Puranic literature, where she appears in various myths and stories.

Many Puranas relate the myth of her creation by the creator god Brahma and then describe how she became his consort. Sources which describe this myth include Markandeya Purana, Matsya Purana (which contains the most extensive account), Vayu Purana and Brahmanda Purana. Other Puranas give her slightly different roles and see her as the consort of other gods, such as Vishnu. In various Puranas, rites for her worship are given, and she is mainly worshiped for her command over speech, knowledge, and music, so goddess of knowledge and excellence.

As the Vedic Saraswati River emerges from the Himalayas and merges into the Arabian Sea in Gujarat, Mata Saraswati Dham is proposed on the banks of the Vedic Saraswati River.

The evidence of Saraswati river has also been found in Prayagraj. The research of Prof. A. R. Chaudhary (Director, Center of Excellence for Research on Saraswati River) shows that the Saraswati River in Prayagraj is not imaginary, there is a palaeochannel of vedic time saraswati river. The triveni sangam of Ganga-Jamuna-Saraswati at Prayagraj is the place where Mata Saraswati resides herself, hence Prayagraj will also be a holy place for Mata Saraswati Dham. It is also a center point of India and the world, also it is one of the four holy Kumbh sites. Mother Saraswati will like Sangam for her Dham.
